Night 1 – Arrival in Ha Noi

Our driver will meet you in Hanoi and transfer you to your hotel in the old quarter of Hanoi.

After check in you will have free time to take a rest or start exploring the area around the hotel and take a walk around the famous Hoan Kiem Lake.

Overnight stay in Hanoi.

Day 1 – Hanoi City Tour (B/L)

08:00 – Vietnam Travel guide will meet you at your hotel & you will depart to visit:

Ho Chi Minh Complex: Completed in 1975 the complex contains Ho Chi Minh’s mausoleum, his former stilt house residence, the Presidential Palace and the Ho Chi Minh museum.

Next stop is a visit to the Temple of Literature: Originally built as a temple to Confucius,

12:00 – A delicious set menu lunch will be provided for you in a local restaurant.

13:00 – Your tour recommences with a visit to the Museum of Ethnology which is widely acknowledged as the best in Vietnam and has an extensive display dedicated to Vietnam’s 54 Ethnic minority peoples.

Then it is on to the Ngoc Son Temple and Hoan Kiem Lake: The Ngoc Son temple is set on a tiny island on the Hoan Kiem Lake and was erected in 18th century. The temple is reached by crossing the Huc Bridge which literally means “Place Touched by Morning Sunbeams”. Hoan Kiem Lake is a focal point of the city and the source of many legends including the legend of the returned sword which dates back to the 15th century and refers to a magical sword used to free Vietnam from Chinese rule.

The Old Quarter, also known as the 36 streets, is a bustling area of narrow streets home to literally thousands of small businesses and street vendors, selling a wide variety of goods. Originally each of the 36 streets names’ were related to the products being sold there. Hence you can walk from Fish Street to Tin Street to Bamboo Street and you will enjoy exploring the area while riding in a traditional cyclo.

17:30 – Back to your hotel where you will have free time to have dinner

Day 2 – Hanoi – Ha Long Bay (B/L/D)

07:45-08:30 – Your transport will pick you up at your hotel and you will depart for Ha Long Bay. You will stop for a short break at the Humanity center situated approximately half way on to the bay and enjoy local specialties.

1200h – Arrive Ha Long Bay and transfer by tender to your luxury Junk where the captain will welcome you on board the boat.

A delicious lunch will be served for you as the boat passes through many of the thousands of islands and islets within Ha Long Bay.

15:30You will have the opportunity to explore what is commonly thought to be the biggest and most amazing cave in Halong Bay, the Surprise Cave.

17:00Kayaking for an hour around the fishing village and observe the daily life of the local community there. Then back and relax before dinner.

19:30Enjoy a dinner of local or western food.

Overnight stay on board your Junk on Ha long Bay.

Day 3 – Ha Long Bay – Hanoi – (B/L)

Rising to the sound of lapping bay waters, you will have time for an early morning dip followed by breakfast. Sitting on the upper deck, you can relax while taking in the breath-taking beauty of the rocky islands rising from the emerald water of the bay. After breakfast, explore Sung Sot cave, swim and relax. Cruise back to the jetty while brunch is served while you are cruising through the bay, along the way seeing more of the fascinating formations.

Day 4 – Hanoi – Da Nang – Hoi An (B)

In the morning our driver will pick you up at the hotel and transfer you to the airport in Hanoi to board a flight to Da Nang

On arrival in Da Nang airport, a driver will meet you and transfer you to Hoi An in a private air conditioned vehicle.

Check into your hotel and enjoy some time to relax.

Day 5 – Hoi An (B)

Enjoy some time out to relax or continue shopping in the fascinating streets of the Old Town.

Day 6 – Hoi An – Da Nang-Ho Chi Minh City (B)

Free time until our driver meets you to transfer you to Da Nang airport to board your morning flight to Ho Chi Minh City.

Driver will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel in exciting District 1 area of HCMC.

The afternoon is yours to relax or explore the area around your hotel or take a walk to the famous Ben Thanh Markets.

Day 7 – Mekong Delta Day Tour (B/L)

06:30 – Start early for your drive to Cai Be.

On arrival, you will board a private boat for a cruise through the busy Cai Be floating market. Then make a stop to visit some local cottage industries including a coconut candy workshop, learn how to make puffed-rice, puff-corn, and view the process of making rice paper.

Continuing with your cruise through the maze of canals that criss-cross the An Binh island and land at Mr. Ba Kiet old house. Here you can enjoy sampling the fresh tropical fruits of the Delta, while watching a short traditional music show performed by local artists.

Lunch is served at a local garden restaurant.

After lunch, take a short walk around the island to see how the people make their living and enjoying their life. Next you will visit a Nursery garden, where you can see most of the Delta fruits seedlings.

The final stop will be a visit to see a local Brick & pottery kiln before starting your drive back from Vinh Long town to Ho Chi Minh.

17:00 – Arrive in HCMC

Overnight stay in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 8 – Ho Chi Minh City Tour (B)

08:00 – Your English speaking guide will meet you at the hotel and you will depart on a tour to explore and discover what Saigon has to offer. Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC), formerly known as Saigon, is the largest and busiest city in Vietnam with a population of 7 million people.

You will visit many interesting and famous places including, Ben Thanh Market, War Remnants Museum, Reunification Palace,Notre Dame Cathedraland the Central Post Office. Notre Dame Cathedral was built between 1877 and 1883, and the stones used to create it were exported in its entirety from France. The Central Post Office, finished in 1891 is another fine example of French architecture and is Vietnam’s largest post office.

12:30 – Return to your hotel.

Day 9 – Departure (B)

Free time until your private car and driver takes you to Tan Son Nhat airport for your departure flight.
