Full Itinerary

Night 1: Hoi An Arrival

Our driver will meet you in Da Nang and transfer you to your beautiful 4 star resort in Hoi An.

Enjoy some to settle into your new surrounding and relax.

Day 1: Hoi An Ancient Town (B)

09:00: Your English speaking guide will meet you at your hotel and take you on a two hour walking tour of Hoi An Old Town. Famous for its quant mixture of Chinese, Japanese and European architecture, the old town was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1999. You will visit, the Japanese bridge built in the 16th century and famous for being the only covered bridge known to incorporate a Buddhist pagoda, the 200 year old Tan Ky house, museum of trade ceramics and several other historical sites. You will then have free time to continue exploring the old town or to go shopping for those special items.

Day 2: Hoi An Street Food Tour (B/L)

You will start your Hoi An street food tour by walking to visit the colorful local Tan An Markets where you have a chance to meet and may chat with stall holders about their foods. Your walk then continues along both high streets and back streets, discovering out-of-the-way producers and street vendors making and selling a wide variety of exotic foods.

The last stop of our journey is the lunch in the local restaurant where guests enjoy refreshments

Our Hoi An street food tour will be finished at approximately 12:30 in Hoi An

13:00: You will arrive back to your hotel.

Day 3: My Son Holy Land (B)

08:30: Start from your hotel and travel 50km from Hoi An to My Son holy land in a private air conditioned vehicle with your English speaking guide. My Son was a major religious site for the people of the ancient Champa Kingdom which flourished between the 4th and 13th centuries The Champa people ruled Central Vietnam until it was finally annexed by the Vietnamese in the 19th Century. The Champa King lived in the political capital of Tra Kieu (whose commercial capital was the port of Hoi An) and so the My Son complex became the most important temples of the Champa Kingdom. Bricks were used to build the temples without the aid of mortar and sculptures of gods, priests, animals, and scenes of mythical battles adorned the walls. The temples were places of worship to the Hindu God Vishnu.

My Son was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1999. After exploring the ruins and history of My Son and viewing a short traditional Champa Peoples music concert, you will start your journey back to Hoi An.

12:30: Arrive in Hoi An and the afternoon is yours to relax or try on the new clothes you have had made.

Day 4: Hoi An (B)

Sleep in a little and have a day off to relax or visit the tailor shops one more time.

Day 5: Hoi An – Ho Chi Minh City (B)

Your driver will meet you at the hotel and transfer you to Da Nang airport where you will board your flight to HCMC.

Arrive in HCMC and your driver will meet you and transfer you to your hotel in the exciting and vibrant district 1 area of Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 6: Ho Chi Minh City – Cu Chi Tunnels – City Tour (B/L)

08:00: You will be picked from your hotel and travel out of Ho Chi Minh City to visit the famous Vietcong tunnels at Cu Chi. The incredible system of tunnels, covering nearly 250km, was shelter to over 16,000 communist guerrillas during the American war. You will gain an insight into the tenacity of the soldiers and have the opportunity to go inside the tunnels. Lunch will be in HCMC and after you have enjoyed your meal you begin a HCMC tour of the popular attractions in Ho Chi Minh City: including the Re-Unification Palace, Central Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral, and the War Remnants Museum.

Day 7: Ho Chi Minh City – Mekong Delta (B/L)

07:00: Your day begins with pick-up at your hotel and a short transfer of only a few minutes to board a speed boat for a 1 hour 30 minute boat ride to the Mekong Delta. During the ride, we will have a light breakfast and you will see many interesting sights that your personal tour guide will be able to explain. The first 20 minutes of your trip by speedboat is an urban city tour through the widest section of Saigon which would normally take more than 1 hour by car or bus. After the urban area of Saigon there is then a dramatic transition to scenic lush green canals that are typical in the Mekong Delta region. Once you arrive in the Mekong Delta you will begin your excursion, visiting a local riverside market, an authentic village with colonial architecture, a local pagoda, various workshops, and narrow lush jungle canals. Customers receive a truly unique experience and stay well off the beaten path. After a morning of exploring, you will enjoy a traditional Vietnamese meal for lunch in a local pagoda. The chef will travel with you from Saigon to ensure your lunch is prepared and served at a very high standard. Vegetarian options and other special requests can be arranged but please give advance notice.

13:00: Journey back to Saigon begins and you will arrive between at approximately 14:30. .

Overnight stay in HCMC

Day 8: Ho Chi Minh City – Departure (B)

Time to relax or enjoy one last visit to Ben Thanh Market before your driver arrives to transfer you to HCMC airport where your time with us will unfortunately come to an end.
